- Collaborate with Fleet Engineering Managers and team leaders to plan and implement maintenance, repair, and overhaul programmes, analyse breakdown trends, and recommend intervention measures
- Work with Fleet Engineering Managers, Fleet Operations Managers, and stakeholders on vessel newbuild programmes, including supervision, commissioning, and sea trials
- Parter with Fleet Engineering Managers and Fleet Safety Managers to design and implement workplace safety and health programmes and campaigns to raise awareness and drive safe practices
- Coordinate with Fleet Engineering and Procurement teams to plan, optimise, and implement term contracts for parts and aftersales support, while driving process redesign and innovation initiatives
- Support Fleet Sustainability Manager and stakeholders in planning, developing, and implementing sustainability practices, partnerships, and maritime decarbonisation initiatives enabled by data and technology
- Partner with Business Development teams to provide operational support for overseas business units and projects, including readiness audits, tender evaluations/proposals, asset mobilisation and demobilisation, vessel registration, re-flagging, and turnkey solutions
- Work with Fleet leaders, HR team and key stakeholders, including Union leaders, to lead workforce engagement, change management, community relations, and productivity programmes across local and overseas business units and
- Undertake stretch assignments and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
- Have at least 6 years of experience in managing a fleet of tugs and harbour crafts
- Possess at least 6 years of experience working in or with shipyards/ship repair facilities
- Be willing to undertake short overseas assignments of two to three weeks and
- Demonstrate strong multi-disciplinary and cross-functional exposure.
