Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly and year-end financial and management accounting close
- Prepare monthly financial and management reports (including presentation decks) for senior management and cluster reporting
- Support budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis in collaboration with business teams
- Monitor and report Capex and Opex utilisation across funded and self-funded projects
- Manage internal and external audit processes
- Perform financial analysis to support cost control, decision-making, and stakeholder queries
- Review lease contracts and ensure compliance with FRS 116
Business & Stakeholder Partnering
- Partner operational and clinical teams to support financial performance monitoring and reporting
- Develop a solid understanding of healthcare cost drivers and financial dynamics
- Coordinate with shared services and internal/external stakeholders to ensure smooth finance operations and reporting
Finance Operations
- Review and approve vendor invoices, payments, and purchase requisitions using internal finance platforms
- Support day-to-day finance operations and other assigned administrative responsibilities
Systems & Process Improvement
- Review and implement SOPs and work instructions for finance operations
- Enhance finance processes and controls while improving operational efficiency
- Support finance system implementations and change management initiatives (e.g. SAP, national billing systems)
- Contribute to digitalisation and automation initiatives, including AI-enabled tools
- Support ad-hoc finance IT and process improvement projects
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or relevant professional qualification (e.g. CA, ACCA)
- 58 years of relevant experience in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, alongside Big 4 experience
- Strong understanding of finance operations, including AP/AR and proper accounting treatments
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience with SAP (FI/CO, HANA) and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic and structured environment
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Willingness to work in a fully onsite arrangement
