Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly and year-end financial and management accounting close
  • Prepare monthly financial and management reports (including presentation decks) for senior management and cluster reporting
  • Support budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis in collaboration with business teams
  • Monitor and report Capex and Opex utilisation across funded and self-funded projects
  • Manage internal and external audit processes
  • Perform financial analysis to support cost control, decision-making, and stakeholder queries
  • Review lease contracts and ensure compliance with FRS 116

Business & Stakeholder Partnering

  • Partner operational and clinical teams to support financial performance monitoring and reporting
  • Develop a solid understanding of healthcare cost drivers and financial dynamics
  • Coordinate with shared services and internal/external stakeholders to ensure smooth finance operations and reporting

Finance Operations

  • Review and approve vendor invoices, payments, and purchase requisitions using internal finance platforms
  • Support day-to-day finance operations and other assigned administrative responsibilities

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Review and implement SOPs and work instructions for finance operations
  • Enhance finance processes and controls while improving operational efficiency
  • Support finance system implementations and change management initiatives (e.g. SAP, national billing systems)
  • Contribute to digitalisation and automation initiatives, including AI-enabled tools
  • Support ad-hoc finance IT and process improvement projects

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or relevant professional qualification (e.g. CA, ACCA)
  • 58 years of relevant experience in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, alongside Big 4 experience
  • Strong understanding of finance operations, including AP/AR and proper accounting treatments
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with SAP (FI/CO, HANA) and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic and structured environment
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Willingness to work in a fully onsite arrangement
