Business Development & Sales
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics and Transportation in Singapore.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Convert opportunities into profitable business
- Prepare and present proposals, RFQs/RFPs, and pricing models to potential clients.
- Achieve sales targets set and provide timely sales & marketing strategic information
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact during the sales process and transition to implementation.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
- Provide input into the company's business strategy and identify growth areas.
- Generate reports, and track KPIs related to sales performance and business pipeline.
- Identify target customers as sales objectives and update sales pipelines weekly to management team
- Ensure all business transactions meet company's P&L objectives
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the department head
- Degree in supply Chain/ Logistics and / or related field.
- At least 5 years of proven, relevant BD experience in Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics & Transportation
- Good understanding of freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, customs processes, and supply chain solutions.
- Proven track record in business development and sales.
- Good level of knowledge of MS Office
- Strong business development and sales management skills.
- Strong communicator with effective written and oral communication skills to persuade, influence, negotiate and present business case.
- Ability to work and interact effectively with stakeholders from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
- Strong team player with can-do attitude, initiative and demonstrated ability to close deals.
