Job Description

Human Resources Assistant Manager (HRBP & Compensation)

We are partnering with a well-established luxury retail brand to hire an experienced Human Resources Assistant Manager. This role will focus on HR business partnering and compensation & benefits, working closely with retail and corporate stakeholders to drive effective people strategies and rewards practices.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partnering

  • Act as a trusted HR partner to retail teams, providing guidance on workforce planning and people matters
  • Support employee relations issues and ensure fair, consistent application of HR policies
  • Analyse HR data, headcount trends, and compensation insights to support business decisions
  • Ensure compliance with local labour regulations and internal policies

Compensation & Benefits

  • Support implementation of salary structures, incentive schemes, and allowance frameworks
  • Participate in salary benchmarking exercises and annual compensation review cycles
  • Guide on rewards-related matters to ensure competitiveness and internal equity

Talent Acquisition & Development

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process for retail positions, including manpower planning, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Ensure salary alignment for new hires and internal movements
  • Support internship and early talent initiatives

Projects & Initiatives

  • Contribute to HR and total rewards projects, including policy enhancement and process improvements
  • Benchmark HR practices against market standards

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant HR experience, with exposure to HR Business Partnering and Compensation & Benefits
  • Experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or premium consumer industry preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle confidential information
