Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, this hands-on HR generalist leadership role manages the full spectrum of HR and employee lifecycle processes. You will partner with Business Units to deliver compliant, pragmatic, and people-centred HR solutions supporting organisational growth in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Business Units to deliver timely, practical HR advice on manpower planning, recruitment, remuneration, performance management, learning and development, and employee relations to align with organisational goals
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and guide leaders through people-related decisions that support business objectives
  • Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with the Singapore Employment Act, statutory regulations, and market best practices
  • Identify policy and process gaps, recommend improvements, and streamline HR operations to enhance efficiency and compliance
  • Plan and lead employee engagement initiatives and programmes that foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture supporting well-being, morale, and retention
  • Support organisational change initiatives and promote company values during growth or transformation phases
  • Assess organisational and individual learning needs in collaboration with Business Units to support capability building aligned with business priorities
  • Manage training administration including budget planning, course registrations, and vendor coordination
  • Lead HR systems administration ensuring accuracy of employee records, reports, and documentation
  • Analyse HR data and trends to generate actionable insights supporting management decision-making, workforce planning, policy reviews, and learning programs
  • Lead office administration functions including space planning, facilities coordination, employee travel arrangements, and procurement of supplies and services to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Support additional HR initiatives and projects as assigned, adapting quickly to evolving business needs and managing multiple priorities concurrently

Required competencies and certifications

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant HR experience in a generalist or HR Business Partner role
  • Strong working knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and HR best practices

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience in both private and public sectors
  • Experience in start-up or growth-stage organisations
