The Assistant Engineer (Mechanical & Civil) is responsible for assisting in the planning, design, execution, and supervision of engineering works involving both mechanical and civil aspects. The role includes site inspections, technical support, coordination with stakeholders, and ensuring that work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, designing, and supervising civil and mechanical engineering projects such as buildings, R&R, piping, and infrastructure works.
- Coordinate and support site activities for both structural (civil) and mechanical installations.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.
- Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure design specifications and safety standards are met.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure timely project completion.
- Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) checks for materials and workmanship.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation including progress reports, inspection reports, and as-built drawings.
- Support procurement processes by providing technical input and evaluating technical specifications
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a combined engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
- Professional certifications (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MS Project, Safety Certification) are advantageous.
Experience:
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in civil, mechanical, or multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Fresh graduates with relevant industrial training will be considered.

Working Conditions:
