The Job
You will assist Bio-medical Engineering department with the commissioning, maintaining, calibrating, troubleshooting and repairing of a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic biomedical equipment.
Your role will include but not be limited to the following:
- Commissioning of incoming simple biomedical equipment
- Verifying safety and performance of equipment against manufacturer's specifications
- Interpreting of engineering information, schematic diagrams and instructions on operators and service manuals
- Performing of scheduled preventive maintenance
- Entering and maintaining of records in the biomedical equipment management system
- Troubleshooting and correcting of system and equipment malfunctions through making adjustments, alterations, repairs or replacement
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial Technician Certificate with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
