The position involves reviewing policy issues, conducting benchmarking and contributing to practical policy recommendations aligned with NTU's faculty talent strategy. The role also supports effective translation of policies into operational processes, governance practices and stakeholder guidance to strengthen consistency and clarity in the application of faculty HR policies across Colleges and Schools.
This role offers opportunities to contribute to University-wide policy initiatives and engage regularly with senior faculty leaders and institutional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Review, enhance and implement of faculty HR policies across the faculty lifecycle
Conduct benchmarking, policy analysis and stakeholder consultations to guide formulation of policy recommendations for the University Leadership.
Translate approved policies into operational processes, workflows and implementation guidance
Advise HR stakeholders and academic units on policy interpretation and contribute to governance improvements
Facilitate communication, change-management and knowledge-sharing initiatives relating to faculty HR policies
Maintain and update the Faculty Handbook, policy repositories, and reference resources to ensure clarity, accessibility, and consistency.
Support faculty HR initiatives, system enhancements and process optimisation
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from a recognised university, preferably in Human Resources, Business, Public Policy or a related field
At least 8 years of relevant HR or faculty affairs experience, including exposure to policy development, governance processes and business partnering
Strong analytical, writing and stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative working style
