About Seriously Addictive Mathematics (S.A.M):
S.A.M is the world's largest Singapore Math enrichment program, dedicated to making mathematics engaging, understandable, and seriously addictive for students aged 4 to 12. Our proven Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract approach builds deep conceptual understanding and critical problem-solving skills. We are looking for a dynamic leader to drive our centre's growth and educational excellence.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and driven Centre Manager to oversee the daily operations and strategic growth of our S.A.M Jurong West centre. This is a dual-role position that combines hands-on teaching with comprehensive business and people management. The ideal candidate will be a leader who can inspire both students and staff, ensure operational excellence, and drive the centre towards achieving its business targets.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Operational & Educational Management:

  • Handle walk-in enquiries and convert new leads into enrolled students.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parent and student enquiries regarding services, schedules, and progress.
  • Liaise effectively with parents regarding any schedule changes or student updates.
  • Plan and execute engaging student activities and post-exam programs.
  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the centre.
  • Deliver high-quality, dynamic lessons based on the renowned S.A.M curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Develop lesson materials and provide constructive feedback to students to ensure visible academic improvement.
  • Engage and motivate students to help them realize their full potential.

Business Management:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve and exceed business targets for enrolment and revenue.
  • Analyze key management indicators and costs to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
  • Continuously monitor sales pipelines and customer service quality to optimize centre performance.
  • Uphold and enforce exceptional customer service standards across the entire team.
  • Optimize resource allocation and manage centre expenses to minimize costs.

People Management:

  • Act as a role model for the team, setting the highest standards of performance, professionalism, and behavior.
  • Foster proactive, clear, and effective communication within the team.
  • Identify training needs and develop team members skills to ensure their growth and progression.
  • Recognize employee potential and actively support their career development.
  • Manage all personnel administration, including scheduling, rostering, and performance reviews.
  • Resolve team conflicts promptly and fairly to maintain a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.
  • Ensure full compliance with all company policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications & Experiences

  • Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably within education, enrichment, or a retail/service-oriented business.
  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience is highly advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and management software.
