Facilitate use of composite trade models in construction coordination/clash detection meetings and provide detection reports by the identification and resolution of all hard and soft collisions.
Communicate with the Consultants and coordinate the data extraction sets required by the construction trades and ensure that these requests are met.
Coordinate with the Consultants to document and update design changes in the field in a timely manner.
Work with Lead Fabrication Modellers to integrate 3D fabrication models with the updated design model to ensure compliance with design intent prior to approval and installation.
Attend VDC/Technical meetings and progress meeting with the consultants and Developer. Organise, initiate and lead all walkthrough sessions.
Assist VDC Manager, collect information from site coordinators and create VDC progress, simulations and schedules for presentation.
Support Project Management on all VDC and IDD related matters.
Responsible for accurate and organized Revit (BIM) models and generate schedules, concrete body plans, combined service drawings and other relevant shop drawings from BIM Models.
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Architectural / Civil & Structural/ Electrical & Mechanical.
Well versed in AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, Structure, MEP, Navisworks, Enscape and Synchro.
Must possess relevant BIM or VDC (Diploma or Training Certification) At least 5 years experience of BIM modelling and coordination in construction firm of a large project.
Able to work with minimum supervision and able to manage tight deadline.
