About the Role
We are looking for a capable and detail-oriented Assistant Accounts Manager to support the management of client portfolios, oversee accounting deliverables, and assist in leading a team of accountants.

This role is ideal for candidates who have a strong accounting foundation and are looking to step into a more senior, client-facing position with leadership exposure.

Key Responsibilities

Client Portfolio Management
Assist in managing a portfolio of clients across various industries (SMEs, MNCs, and high-growth companies)

Oversee and review the preparation of:

Management accounts (monthly/quarterly/year-end)

Financial statements (compliant with SFRS/IFRS)

GST submissions and regulatory filings

Ensure timely delivery and accuracy of all client deliverables

Team Support & Supervision
Support the Accounts Manager in supervising and guiding a team of accountants

Review work prepared by junior team members and ensure quality standards are met

Provide training, mentorship, and technical guidance where necessary

Assist in driving team efficiency and meeting deadlines

Client Relationship Management
Serve as a key point of contact for assigned clients

Handle client queries and provide practical accounting and compliance advice

Support in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring high satisfaction

Process & Quality Control
Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and review frameworks

Identify areas for process improvements and workflow enhancements

Ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory and reporting requirements

Requirements
Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field

ACCA / CA Singapore / equivalent professional qualification preferred

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in:

Accounting / audit / corporate services

Prior experience in reviewing work or mentoring junior staff is an advantage

Strong technical knowledge in:

Financial reporting standards

GST and Singapore compliance requirements

Experience in handling a portfolio of clients is highly preferred
