Key Responsibilities
Business Intelligence & Insights
- Lead deep-dive analysis across business lines to identify growth opportunities and key operational improvements.
- Develop and optimize KPI frameworks to monitor performance and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Design and maintain BI dashboards and reports to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Support group-level and business unit strategic planning, annual budgeting, and rolling forecasts.
- Conduct market, competitor, and industry research to generate strategic insights and actionable plans.
- Collaborate with senior executives to identify and evaluate new market opportunities, product strategies, and business initiatives.
Cross-Functional Strategic Projects
- Drive and coordinate cross-functional strategic initiatives (e.g., market entry strategies, product optimization, channel efficiency projects).
- Support Global Head of Business Intelligence & Strategy, and C-level executives on special projects and business reviews.
Team Development & Capability Building
- Mentor and guide junior analysts to strengthen overall analytics and strategic thinking capabilities within the team.
- Promote data-driven culture and support ongoing data governance initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or strategy roles, ideally in fintech, technology, or consumer industries.
- Proficient in SQL and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker); experience with Python or R is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of strategic frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Porter's Five Forces, BCG Matrix, financial modeling).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities; comfortable working directly with senior executives.
- Fluent in English and Chinese with the ability to work effectively in a global and multicultural environment.
- MBA or advanced degree in business, data science, or a related field is a plus.
