YOUR IMPACT

The Strategic Transformation Office (STO) plays a pivotal role within AWM, spearheading modernization efforts and fostering business growth. As a catalyst for large-scale, cross-functional transformations, STO directly empowers AWM to achieve our strategic objectives, by scaling our operating platform, enhancing client experiences, and fueling business expansion. This group comprises of four critical functions, including (1) Product Management & Design, (2) Change Management, (3) Sales Enablement and (4) Business Analytics.

The AWM Risk & Regulatory Solutions team (part of Change Management) manages the risk & regulatory strategy and roadmap for the AWM business globally. The team has two key focus areas: 1) New Regulations & Industry mandates assessing impact on business activities and implementation of changes 2) Risk Remediations delivery of critical regulatory risk programs resulting from internal or external findings.

In this role, you will closely collaborate with stakeholders across AWM, including Legal & Compliance, 1/2/3 LoD, COOs and business partners to triage, manage pipeline, assess and implement any disruptors in the non-discretionary space for the business. This is a high impact role with visibility across business units and functions within AWM.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Build a deep understanding of the Asset and Wealth Management business through analyzing the applicability and impact of regulatory policies and rules to each business area
  • Simplify complex problems by collaborating with the team, key stakeholders, and regulatory experts within the firm
  • Exert influence and impact, to drive business engagement and lead strategic cross-divisional discussions on regulatory change matters
  • Deploy appropriate methodologies and governance tools, to drive the timely delivery of analysis and agreed solution approach (operational and technology driven)
  • Build strong senior stakeholder relationships that will be required when performing complex analysis across multiple businesses

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in regulatory solutions, management consulting or related field, with active involvement in risk & regulatory assessments and implementations
  • Understanding of investment products and the wider asset management and/or wealth management operating model and ecosystems
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills to provide creative and innovative solutions
  • Project Management experience including definition of business case and scope, articulation of issues, challenges, risks, dependencies and solutions
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven track record of supporting the design and execution of solutions for complex problems
  • Multi-task and can manage and advance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel, with an ability to learn new tools quickly
