Main Function of the role:
This role offers an opportunity to develop strong foundational skills in treasury operations and financial management within a global finance team. This role will support daily cash and liquidity management, banking operations, and financial controls, while gaining exposure to broader finance processes and projects. The role involves adherence to internal controls, SOX requirements, and regulatory standards.
Key task and responsibilities:
Cash & Liquidity Management
. Monitor daily cash positions and assist in preparing cash flow forecasts.
. Support liquidity management to ensure compliance with internal limits.
Banking Operations
. Process and review payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to controls.
. Maintain and update bank mandates, standing instructions, and account documentation.
Reconciliations& Reporting
. Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple entities and currencies.
. Investigate and resolve unidentified transactions promptly.
Financial Controls & Compliance
. Ensure compliance with internal policies, client money rules, and regulatory requirements.
. Support SOX control documentation, testing, and evidence gathering.
. Assist with internal and external audits for treasury-related processes.
Projects & Process Improvement
. Participate in initiatives to enhance treasury processes and automation.
. Contribute ideas for improving efficiency, accuracy, and control within treasury operations.
. Collaborate with finance teams on system enhancements and continuous improvement projects.
Minimum Experience Required:
Candidate Profile:
. Must be proficient on Excel and Word
. Numerate
. Deadline-focused and reliable
. Accurate with high attention to detail
. Able to work calmly and accurately under pressure
. Able to work effectively in a team environment
. Able to quickly assimilate new information/requirements
. Organised and methodical in approach to work, with the ability to prioritise effectively
. Sound communication skills (written and oral) with the confidence to deal with the investment team and suppliers
. Good interpersonal skills
