Enhance the DM Asia and non-Yen Japan Credit pod of the Asia Credit Flow business

What would be your typical day at BNPP Paribas look like

Primary Role Responsibilities

. Secondary market maker & risk manager for Asia DM Credit (Japan, USD/Non-Yen)

. Role will primarily be for market making USD / Non-Yen Japan credit flow bond, but will need to familiarize and understand all Asia credit products

. Help manage/understand aggregate Asian credit risk & ensure risk positions appropriately sized and are within assigned limits

Conduct:

. Operate within the BNPP compliance & regulatory framework outlined in the employee handbook & compliance manual

. Compliance with individual mandates and Code of Conduct

. Sign off on ORUS

. Follow the GM Conduct Handbook Principles & Guidelines

. Acts & behaves appropriately and complies fully with the general ethical standards expected by BNP and the regulatory authorities

. Complies with all applicable legal, regulatory, code of conduct and internal compliance requirements and guidelines.

. Has completed all mandatory compliance training assigned and maintains, through is his observed actions, an appropriate level of knowledge and understanding in order to be fully competent to undertake the role

Franchise:

. Work closely with desk analysts & economists to develop a cohesive and targeted trading strategy for the sector

. Collaborate with desk analysts to jointly identify & position for marketable trade ideas

. Work with Sales & desk analysts to promote the franchise and ensure BNP code of best practices are adhered to

. Regular attendance of daily and weekly risk meetings

. Ensure an efficient backup system is implemented such that there is seamless coverage of trading responsibilities

. Actively develop the Asian Credit Trading franchise across the Global Markets

People Care:

. Participate in recruitment process when applicable

. Mentoring when applicable

Platform Development:

. Promote working relationships with all associated groups including Desk Analysts, Sales, back and middle office, Risk Management, Legal and Compliance

. Coordinate with support groups to ensure complete after the trade processes (such as settlements, operational and P&L reconciliation) are completed accurately and efficiently

. Direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control framework & its implementation in actively to the Asian Credit Trading platform development
