AS400 COBOL Developer

Job Description:

• Design, develop and configure AS400 COBOL software modules, interfaces and components.
• Ability to work in a team environment delivering quality software that meets requirements.
• Working to a timeline Explore new business solutions to continually enhance functionality that fulfills user needs.
• Adopt standards and methodologies of application design and functionality.
• Motivated to be continually enhancing your skills to be aware of the latest software development trends/skills.
• Be a self-starter and recognize when issues need to be raised.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology.
• 5 - 8 years of AS400 COBOL development experience.
• Experience in banking domain, especially in payments domain.
• Working knowledge of AS400, COBOL, SQL and DB2 database.
• Awareness of JIRA and ALDON.
• Involved in complete software delivery lifecycle, and maintaining AS400 applications.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle communication at different levels and diverse population.
• Experience in working closely with clients providing required services.
