Check and coordinate shop drawings produced by the drafting team and Subcontractors.
Attend technical meetings with consultants and other relevant parties.
Monitor and follow up on the approval of shop drawings from consultants.
Liaise with subcontractors on technical issues to ensure timely approval of shop drawings.
Monitor site progress in relation to the shop drawing schedule.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and to verify critical dimensions indicated in the drawings.
Ensure that proposed details and materials comply with contract provisions and specifications.
Resolve site problems on detailing.
Track and control construction schedules to ensure project completion within allocated time and budget.
Review project specifications, technical clarifications and construction drawings.
Identify and highlight site problems caused by constraints or technical discrepancies to consultants.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Building.
Relevant working experience on construction projects.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
Good technical detailing, specification knowledge and aesthetic sensibilities.
Knowledge of local building regulations, submission processes, and tender drawing preparation.
