Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise architectural work on-site to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project plans. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support the construction team in delivering high-standard infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise architectural work on-site to monitor quality, safety, and adherence to project plans and specifications
- Liaise with architects, designers, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and facilitate smooth project progression
- Review and approve architectural submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with the construction team to identify and implement process improvements for enhanced project delivery
- Provide technical guidance and support to the site team to ensure work meets the highest standards
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle
- Maintain detailed records and project documentation for accurate tracking and reporting
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related engineering field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer in large-scale infrastructure construction projects
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction methods
- Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic team environment
- Familiarity with local regulations and experience working on Land Transport Authority (LTA) projects
