Job Summary

Coordinate and supervise architectural work on-site to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project plans. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support the construction team in delivering high-standard infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise architectural work on-site to monitor quality, safety, and adherence to project plans and specifications
  • Liaise with architects, designers, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and facilitate smooth project progression
  • Review and approve architectural submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with the construction team to identify and implement process improvements for enhanced project delivery
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the site team to ensure work meets the highest standards
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintain detailed records and project documentation for accurate tracking and reporting

Required competencies and certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related engineering field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer in large-scale infrastructure construction projects
  • Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction methods
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic team environment
  • Familiarity with local regulations and experience working on Land Transport Authority (LTA) projects
