Job Summary
Lead and coordinate technical and design aspects of construction projects by managing shop drawings, specifications, approvals, and stakeholder communications to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead the review and coordination of shop drawings and as-built drawings across Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Specialist Subcontractors works to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements
- Review project specifications, shop drawings, and technical clarifications to resolve design issues and uphold project standards
- Prepare and monitor progress schedules for shop drawings and samples aligned with procurement timelines to support timely project delivery
- Manage the submission and approval process of shop drawings and samples with Consultants to secure timely endorsements
- Oversee the receipt and issuance of all Consultant and shop drawings to maintain document control and ensure version accuracy
- Liaise and coordinate with Consultants, Authorities, and Subcontractors to address design issues and facilitate smooth project execution
- Support the Project team by resolving technical and coordination issues with Subcontractors to minimize delays and conflicts
- Lead and chair design technical meetings with Consultants and Subcontractors to drive consensus and clarify project requirements
- Assist the Project contracts department in preparing variation order claims related to design changes to ensure accurate contract management
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Superior to support project and company objectives
