Job Role:
An Architectural Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the architectural aspects of a project, ensuring it aligns with design intent, construction plans, and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Involved and led in checking and coordination of shop drawings and as-built drawings with all respective trades (e.g., Architectural, Structural, MEP and Specialist Subcontractors works).
- Support end-to-end tendering process, including preparation of tender documents, coordination of consultant and client meetings and issuance of meeting minutes.
- Create clear and concise presentation slides for client management briefings to support decision-making.
- Review project specifications, Shop drawings and technical clarifications.
- Able to prepare and monitor the progress of Shop drawings and Sample schedule with procurement schedule.
- Manage the submission and approval of Shop Drawings and Samples from Consultants.
- Manage the receipt and issuance of all Consultant drawings and Shop drawings.
- Liaise and coordinate with stakeholders, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors throughout the construction phase.
- Rectify any technical and coordination issues that surface within the Project team and any related working partners.
- Managed claim-related issues and maintained systematic tracking of action items.
- Any other duties assigned by the superior.
Job requirements:
- Recognized Degree/ Diploma in Architecture/ Project Management, Mechanical & Electrical or equivalent
- Min. 4 years experience in the Construction or related industry preferred
- Well-versed in Navisworks, Autocad, Revit/BIM software in Architectural/ Structural/ MEP
- 3D modelling and visualisation - Sketchup
- Able to coordinate & check Architectural, M&E and Structural workshop drawings
- Conversant with architectural trades
