We are seeking a highly motivated and seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in leading IT Development and Application Support (ASM) teams in an outsourced delivery environment within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing delivery processes, overseeing people management, planning work activities, and ensuring efficient execution across a large delivery organization. This role is critical in driving delivery excellence, customer satisfaction, and P&L performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage large development and support teams (100+ FTEs) across onsite-offshore models.
- Establish and standardize operating procedures, team structures, and work allocation.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and drive productivity through efficiency improvement levers.
- Maintain and improve service quality, addressing and resolving client service issues proactively.
- Effectively manage fixed-price engagements, with clear control over scope, budget, and timelines.
- Leverage strong technical acumen to guide and support delivery teams across technologies.
- Provide domain leadership across BFSI areas including Retail Banking and Payments.
- Engage with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and delivery partner.
- Participate in RFP and bid processes, providing delivery expertise during due diligence and solutioning.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and sales teams to support new business opportunities from a delivery perspective.
- Manage P&L ownership of the customer account, ensuring financial health and growth.
Required Skills & Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of IT experience with 8+ years in delivery leadership roles.
- Proven ability to manage diverse, multi-ethnic, and geographically distributed teams.
- Deep expertise in BFSI domain, with hands-on experience in Retail Banking, Payments, and Digital Solutions.
- Strong delivery management background with exposure to Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Waterfall, and Iterative methodologies.
- Experience managing IT services under outsourcing and multi-vendor engagement models.
- Successful track record in managing transitions, including vendor handovers.
- Strong technical foundation in areas such as digital, cloud, data, or analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, including C-level stakeholder communication.
- Experience in operations management, including cost control, service quality, and P&L accountability.
