Application Manager

Key Responsibilities

Attending impact assessment sessions, and actively participate in reviews with the subject matter experts in Finance Technology.

Perform impact analysis on the existing system functionalities with respect to the new proposed changes.

Discuss with requestors to gather and ascertain requirements

Development/SIT Testing/ UAT Support/Implementation

Work with users on the requirements/clarifications and attending to UAT queries

Help to prepare the FS documents and walk through the functional specifications with requestors

Assisting the Stream Lead in the delivery of the project and on the coordination with various stakeholders.

Step in as a Technical Delivery Manager to manage the end to end delivery of the assignment, when demanded.

Deliver the project / tasks within the committed timelines.

Maintain the risks and issues tracker and see them to closure.

Take part in architecture discussions. Prepare ppts to be presented to senior management for proposals and approvals.

Key Requirements

8 years + relevant experience in Informatica Power Center (ETL) - (Designer, Repository Manager, Workflow Manager), OBIEE, ETL tools, Oracle 12 / 19c (SQL.Plus, PL/SQL) and strong Data Analytical skills

Strong on DW Fundamentals, concepts

Understands and review technical requirements, designs ETL process flow and walk through and performs data profiling of required source systems.

Excellent understanding of various relational database design concepts.

Extensive experience in Data Modeling & Architecture.

Experience full life-cycle data warehouse development.

Strong experience in Data Migration and Data Quality initiatives.

Error handling and Performance Improvements.

Conduct and participate in design and code walk through.

Good hands on capability - can independently develop good quality deliverable and guide/mentor junior team members effectively.

Experience in Unix Shell Scripting (AIX/SUN/Intel Xeon Linux)

Experience with Job scheduling tools like Control-M
