Reporting into the HR leadership team, the role will play a pivotal part in driving operational excellence, governance, process transformation and service delivery across the employee lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic initiatives with operational leadership and is looking to drive meaningful transformation within a well-established international organisation.

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the HR leadership team, this role will be responsible for leading HR operations across the employee lifecycle, ensuring seamless service delivery, strong governance standards and an exceptional employee experience. Working closely with HR Business Partners, Centres of Excellence, Payroll and HRIS teams, the successful candidate will drive process standardisation, continuous improvement and digitalisation initiatives across multiple markets while enhancing operational efficiency and service quality.

A key focus of the role will be the delivery of regional transformation initiatives, including HR process harmonisation, operating model enhancement, systems optimisation and change management. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in building scalable and sustainable HR practices that support the organisation's continued growth and evolving business needs.

The role will also oversee payroll governance across the region, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing, statutory reporting and adherence to local employment legislation, tax requirements and internal policies. Partnering closely with Finance, Compliance and Audit stakeholders, you will strengthen controls, mitigate risk and support ongoing governance and audit requirements.

In addition, the position will lead regional mobility and expatriate programmes, overseeing immigration, relocation and international assignment processes while ensuring compliance and a seamless employee experience throughout the mobility lifecycle.

As a people leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and mentoring a high-performing HR Operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. This individual will drive operational excellence through effective performance management, service delivery metrics and capability building, while championing innovation and best practices across the function.

Ideal Profile

The successful candidate will bring approximately 10 years of progressive HR experience, with strong expertise across HR operations, payroll, governance, compliance and process optimisation. Experience supporting regional or multi-country employee populations within a complex, matrixed and fast-paced environment will be highly valued.

Candidates should possess a strong understanding of Singapore employment legislation, payroll administration, CPF and tax requirements, alongside a proven track record of driving operational excellence, process harmonisation and continuous improvement initiatives. Prior exposure to HR transformation projects, HRIS implementations or systems enhancements will be advantageous, particularly within platforms such as Workday or SAP.
