We're seeking Assistant Managers / Managers for our Jobs and Skills team. In this dynamic role, you'll work with diverse stakeholders to shape programmes that elevate Singapore's digital capabilities and create pathways for tech talent to thrive.
Responsibilities
- Industry Engagement & Partnerships
- Foster strategic relationships with key stakeholders (tech hirers, IHLs, trade associations, professional bodies)
- Partner with IMDA divisions and government agencies to develop workforce initiatives
- Create impactful job opportunities and training pathways for Singaporeans in the Digital sector
- Address industry manpower challenges through strategic partnerships and solutions
- Support ICT sector transformation through collaborative programmes
- Strategic Programme Management
- Design and implement targeted workforce development programmes
- Collaborate with industry and government partners on programme delivery
- Ensure partner compliance with policies and processes
- Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness
- Provide data-driven recommendations to management for programme optimisation
- Market Intelligence and Analysis
- Monitor developments in ICT and Continuing Education and Training (CET) training landscape
- Analyse industry trends and hiring patterns
- Map Singapore's evolving jobs and skills ecosystem
- Develop evidence-based human capital strategies
- Shape workforce initiatives based on market insights
- Operational Excellence
- Work independently and as team on assessment of project proposals with industry partners, balancing business considerations, IMDA and national interest priorities.
- Manage project or workstream budget planning, tracking and management reporting of funding utilisation and outcomes/KPIs achieved for programmes under team's portfolio.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in industry engagement, manpower development and programme management.
- Background in Business & IT, Tech/Engineering disciplines or equivalent.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication (writing and presentation) skills with experience in business development will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment under minimal supervision.
- Experience in civil/public service would be an advantage.
