Role: AIX System Administrator (Minimum 5 Years Experience)

Location:Singapore

Duration: 12 Months (Extendable)

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with application teams for EOS upgrade planning

• Define configuration standards for UNIX and system software

• Provide technical assistance to dev/ops teams

• Script automation using Perl, KSH, Python

• Work with GIT/GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Nagios

• Troubleshoot and drive system recovery with urgency

• Lead AIX OS upgrades and ensure supportability

• Review and supervise major change requests

• Conduct performance tuning & analysis

• Automate operations for efficiency

• Drive OS/software upgrade cycles

• Manage backup and recovery

✅ Functional & Technical Competencies

• AIX OS & system services (Volume Manager, NTP, DNS, Clustering, SSH, TSM, ITM)

• UNIX troubleshooting & tuning

• UNIX server clustering

• Information security fundamentals

• Data communication & networking

• Middleware/app execution in UNIX (advantage)
