AIR-CONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATION ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Key Responsibilities

• Install air-conditioning and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, or industrial locations
• Perform routine maintenance to keep systems running efficiently
• Diagnose faults and repair components such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and electrical wiring
• Handle refrigerants safely and in compliance with environmental regulations
• Test systems for performance, leaks, and energy efficiency
• Read and interpret technical drawings and system specifications
• Provide customer support and explain system usage and maintenance tips
• Ensure workplace safety and follow technical standards

• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles and HVAC systems
