Overview:
We are seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to design and deliver cutting-edge AI/ML solutions for the maritime sector. Youll partner with clients to solve real business challenges, architect production-ready AI systems, and translate complex technology into clear business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify client opportunities and translate business problems into AI/ML solutions
- Design end-to-end AI systems, from data assessment to production deployment
- Build functional prototypes and Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) with clean, scalable code
- Assess data readiness, recommend governance frameworks, and improve data quality
- Research latest AI trends (e.g., Generative AI, LLMs, Deep Learning) and apply insights
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate prototypes into full-scale development
- Present AI strategies and ROI clearly to senior leaders and clients
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (Masters/Ph.D. preferred)
- 4 years experience in AI/ML engineering or data science, preferably client-facing
- Strong expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and core ML libraries
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs (e.g., LangChain), and MLOps practices
- Proficiency in GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Functions), Docker, and Kubernetes concepts
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, and distributed computing
- Track record of delivering AI solutions in production (publications or shipped products a plus)
- Experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain is an advantage
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
