Our client is seeking an AI Engineer to drive end-to-end AI/ML solutions in the maritime sector, from prototype to production. The ideal candidate will be skilled in translating complex technical concepts into clear business value while engaging diverse stakeholders. The candidate will also have to lead innovation in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate client challenges into AI/ML solutions and design end-to-end implementations.
- Build functional prototypes/POCs and guide them into production.
- Assess data readiness, governance, and infrastructure to support AI adoption.
- Apply latest AI advancements (Generative AI, LLMs, Deep Learning, MLOps) to drive innovation.
- Present business cases and collaborate across teams for successful delivery.
Key Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related (Masters/Ph.D. preferred).
- 5+ years experience in AI/ML engineering or data science, ideally in client-facing/consulting roles.
- Strong Python skills with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn.
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs (e.g., LangChain), and GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery).
- Knowledge of MLOps, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and scalable data architecture.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Industry experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain is a plus.
