AI & Data Analyst

An exciting opportunity to join a leading organisation in the retail industry, driving transformation toward trusted, AI-enabled decision-making across the region.

In this role, you will lead the development of scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Microsoft Purview, while enabling AI-driven insights (e.g., Copilot, forecasting, anomaly detection) to support strategic and operational decisions. You will collaborate closely with business leaders to ensure data is reliable, accessible, and actionable.

Key Responsibilities

Drive AI-Enabled Insights

• Deploy Natural Language Q&A and Copilot-based analytics solutions

• Develop and implement AI-driven use cases such as forecasting, anomaly detection, and KPI insights

• Empower business users with self-service analytics capabilities

Build a Scalable Data Platform

• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric

• Develop robust data models and insightful Power BI dashboards

• Standardize and scale data architecture across the AP region

Strengthen Data Governance & Trust

• Implement Microsoft Purview for data governance, lineage, and cataloging

• Define data ownership frameworks and ensure KPI consistency

• Enhance data quality, transparency, and reliability across systems

Partner with the Business

• Translate business needs into scalable data and AI solutions

• Act as a trusted advisor to management and operational stakeholders

• Champion and drive adoption of data-driven decision-making practices

Requirements & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data platform roles

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and data modelling

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Platform is preferred

• Exposure to AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Azure Open AI, or similar) is a plus

• Experience in data governance tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview) is advantageous

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence business stakeholders
