Aero Engine Component Maintenance Technician (Metal and Ceramic Coatings Spray Machinist)

Job Responsibilities:

. Ability to apply protective or functional metal coatings and ceramic materials to aero engine components using thermal spray processes in accordance with the requirements & instructions of Rolls-Royce Engine Manuals

. Carry out masking and dry abrasive blasting for the preparation of metal spray on the aero engine components according to the engineering drawing of Rolls-Royce Engine Manuals

. Setting up, operating, and conducting routine machine maintenance of Metal Spray Machine

. Monitoring the spraying process to ensure quality

. Performing quality inspections to ensure the coating meets specifications for thickness, density, and other performance criteria

. Troubleshooting any issues that arise

. Familiar in using different precision measuring instruments for dimensional inspection

. Understand and strict adherence to Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)

. Health & Safety practices (E.g. Personnel Protection Equipment, Fixture & Tooling storage)

Requirements:

. Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in operation of Metal Spray Machine

. Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Engineering or related disciplines

. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

. Proficiency with specialized machinery for thermal spray applications.

. Knowledge of different thermal spray processes (e.g., plasma, flame, arc).

. Good command of written English and engineering analytical skill

. Willing to take day and night roster shifts
