Role Purpose
The TDFS team originates and executes strategic transactions for CMA clients. This includes mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions
Overview
- This position will focus on origination and execution support for the APAC TMT(Technology, Media, and Telecommunications) sector
Principal Accountabilities:Key activities and decision making areas
- Participate in the full cycle of transactional execution including preparing marketing pitches, reviewing and formulating financial analysis, preparing and presenting internal committee memoranda and client presentations
- Conduct sophisticated financial analysis and relevant industry research
- Development of various types of financial models in relation to debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions
- Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation on live transactions
- Work closely with senior bankers and experts from other groups of the bank globally
Major Challenges
- To stay up to date on developments in market trends, sector trends, competitor activity.
- Ad-hoc requests with imminent deadlines and capturing urgent/emerging issues facing the business.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
The role holder will ideally have knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- Demonstrating a keen interest in TMT
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Highly skilled at project management proven success working in a fast-paced environment and delivering against multiple work streams.
- Understanding of deal execution - including for IPOs, domestic and cross-border M&A, and strategic capital raisings
- Highly motivated with an ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strategic thinker and keen to work with an international team and colleagues around the world
- Advanced oral and written communication skills high levels of fluency in English is key
- Willingness to stretch beyond comfort zone and challenge the existing practices.
- Strong leadership skills and proven track record of partnering with peers to deliver meaningful results.
