We are seeking a talented and motivated Actuary to join the OdysseyRe Singapore Actuarial Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in pricing, reserving, and risk management, supporting all business lines in the Asia-Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities
- Pricing:
- Provide pricing indications to the Underwriting Department, across multiple territories and lines of business.
- Assist in development and maintenance of pricing models.
- Contribute to budget planning and portfolio analysis.
- Reserving:
- Support the quarterly reserving process and monitoring large losses.
- Seek opportunities to develop existing processes.
- Risk Management:
- Assist with the quarterly Cat Accumulation monitoring and reporting to the Head Office.
- Contribute to the Singapore Branch ORSA Report.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial studies, mathematics, statistics, data analytics or related fields.
Required Skills
- 34 years of relevant experience in P&C reinsurance.
- Experience working with underwriting and claims department.
- Interest in learning reserving and risk management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, R, VBA and Python.
- Actuarial exams: Associate level or above.
