In this role, you will work closely with inforce management actuaries, data engineers and finance team to support the business performance analytics, financial reporting, business planning and other portfolio management projects for South Asia. You will be performing deep-dive analysis on key drivers of business performance, and provide insights to various stakeholders in South Asia and the division.
Key duties and responsibilities
Enhance the inforce management dashboard for South Asia, utilizing bordereaux data and experience study results to draw insights into the key drivers for business performance
Support the quarterly analysis of IFRS 17 reporting and landing, focusing on detailed variance analysis (actuals
Support the reforecast and operating planning process, with detailed analysis of financial results against business expectations and close communication with market managers
Maintain the inventory for active treaties and analyze the distribution of key attributes
Participate in ad-hoc data projects along with business data and technical accounting team vs. plan, actuals vs. actuals) for South Asia portfolio
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous internship in actuarial, financial analysis or portfolio management field in a similar environment is not required but will be advantageous.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong data management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Very detail-oriented
