Job Summary
You will lead the preparation and management of full sets of accounts for multiple companies, oversee financial reporting, tax compliance, and cash flow management, while guiding the accounts team to ensure accurate and timely financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage full sets of accounts for three companies to ensure accurate financial records
- Post transactions to the General Ledger to maintain up-to-date accounting data
- Prepare Profit & Loss statements to provide clear insights into company performance
- Manage corporate tax compliance and filings to meet statutory requirements
- Prepare and file quarterly GST returns accurately and on time
- Conduct cost-reduction reviews and evaluations to identify financial efficiencies
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with auditors, solicitors, bankers, and statutory bodies to support financial operations
- Analyze cash flow and implement strong cash flow management strategies to maintain financial stability
- Handle Trust Receipts (TR) and Letters of Credit (LC) to support trade financing activities
- Produce accurate financial reports within specified deadlines to inform business decisions
- Oversee and review the work of the accounts team, setting goals and designing frameworks to achieve objectives
- Manage, guide, and lead the accounts team to ensure adherence to appropriate financial processes and controls
Required competencies and certifications
- ACCA or CA certification as a professional accounting qualification
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in accounts or finance roles
- Strong analytical skills demonstrated by meeting deadlines and solving financial issues
- Proven management skills with the ability to lead and develop an accounts team
