Accounts Executive
Job Description
1. Accounting & Financial Operations
- Maintain a few full sets of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L statements, and balance sheets
- Ensure accurate posting of revenue, expenses, accruals, and provisions
- Monitor outlet-level financial performance and cost controls
- Process supplier invoices, staff claims, and payments in a timely manner
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain proper documentation and filing for audit purposes
2. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
- GST submission, IRAS filings, and statutory reporting
- Prepare audit schedules and support year-end audits
- Liaise with corporate secretaries on ACRA-related matters
- Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards and internal controls
3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises
- Track variances between budget and actual results and provide explanations
- Support cash flow monitoring and planning
Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, or professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA Singapore)
- Ability to maintain meticulous documentation and filing systems
- Proficient in Microsoft 365
- Able to handle full sets of accounts
- Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience
