Accounts Executive

Job Description

• Full Cycle Accounting: Responsible for preparing full sets of accounts
• Month-end processes: Manage closing procedures and prepare monthly financial reports for management review.
• Regulatory compliance: Prepare and file GST reports, ensuring adherence to tax regulations.
• Cash management: Update cashflow reports to provide insights on financial liquidity.
• Audit support: Liaise with auditors and draft financial statements forreview.
• Create and issue sales invoices to customers/sales team, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with relevant requirements.
• Follow up with customers on overdue payments.
• Receive, verify, and process invoices from vendors and suppliers.
• Assist in managing cash flow by optimizing payment timing.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing audit schedules and journal entries.
• Assist with internal and external auditor requirements, including accounting-related documents and records.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or professional qualification (ACCA, CA, CIMA, etc.)
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in full set of accounts.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to excellent customer service.
• Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• A team player who is meticulous and demonstrated experience in addressing and resolving issues that showcasing your analytical skills.
