Job Description:
1. Subsidiary Accounting Support (Primary Role)
- Review key transactions (sales, purchases, expenses) to ensure accuracy and proper recording
- Provide guidance to subsidiary team on accounting treatment and system usage
- Track AR, AP, and cash flow positions, and follow up on outstanding issues
- Assist in monthly closing, reconciliations, and reporting to HQ
- Monitor intercompany transactions and ensure proper matching and reconciliation
- Review VAT submission records and supporting schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Highlight discrepancies, risks, or operational gaps to HQ
2. Support AP (Secondary Role)
- Process supplier invoices, debit/credit notes
- Maintain proper documentation and AP records
- Support AP Payments
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy
- At least 3-5 years of working experience in similar capacity
- Possess full set of accounting knowledge, including but not limited to AP, AR, GL and basic financial reporting
- Positive attitude with a good sense of responsibility
- Knowledge of MS Excel and Word
- Willing to perform routine tasks
- Able to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking customers
- Willing to work in Tuas (Company transport provided from JE, CCK and Woodlands MRT)
