About the Role
We are an established and growing construction company seeking a proactive and motivated Accounts Executive to support the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions within our Finance Department. We are looking for an ideal candidate who has good initiative, strong attention to detail, a keen willingness to learn and grow with the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in handling full sets of accounts and daily accounting operations.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including reconciliations and follow-ups.
- Issue invoices and Statements of Accounts (SOA) to clients, and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Assist in cash flow monitoring, budgeting, and basic financial analysis.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, project summaries, and ad-hoc financial reports.
- Prepare quarterly GST submissions and support audits and tax queries.
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers on financial matters.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and audit requirements.
- Perform ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and Singapore Accounting Standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) accounting software experience is an advantage.
- Analytical, meticulous, accurate, and highly reliable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently, multi-task with good team work in a dynamic environment.
