Job Summary

Support the finance operations by maintaining accurate accounting records, processing transactions, and preparing financial reports to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate accounting records to support daily finance operations for two Singapore entities
Process supplier invoices, expenses, payment vouchers, customer invoices, and receipts to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions
Monitor accounts payable and receivable and follow up on outstanding items to maintain cash flow and financial accuracy
Perform bank reconciliations to verify financial data and assist with month-end closing, accruals, and preparation of financial reports
Prepare supporting records for GST submissions, payroll accounting, and annual audit to ensure regulatory compliance
Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and liaise with internal teams on invoice and payment matters to facilitate smooth operations
Communicate effectively in English for accounting records and correspondence, and engage with Mandarin-speaking clients as needed

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience in Singapore
Experience with GST, month-end closing, and full-set accounts
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential financial information
