Job Description
To be part of the team responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate accounting function
Responsibilities:
. Assist accountant to maintain full set of accounts.
. Process invoices, preparing e-banking, payment voucher and receipt voucher
. Prepare bank reconciliations and related cash reports
. Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting and schedules.
. Monitor, check and reconcile inventories level & movement.
. Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support operational activities.
. Staff claim verification and prepare listing for disbursements
. Prepare journal entries for accruals, prepayments & other adjustment
. Prepare monthly schedules and assist on month end closing of accounts & quarterly GST filling
. Administration, office support and documentation
. Other related accounting duties by the Management
. Assist in ad hoc analysis, project work and duties assigned.
Requirements:
. Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
. Minimum 1 year experience
. Able to work under pressure
. Good organisation and administrative skills
. Excellent attention to detail
. Familiar with Microsoft Excel
. Experience in Construction Sector will be an added advantage
. Self-directed with a high level of initiative and a can do attitude.
