Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts, including AP, AR and General Ledger.
- Process monthly payroll for local and foreign workers.
- Prepare and submit annual employment income records to IRAS under AIS by the required deadline.
- Calculate overtime, allowances, deductions, CPF, SDL, FWL and other payroll items.
- Handle construction project accounting and costing.
- Process and monitor subcontractor claims, progress claims, and payment certificates.
- Verify invoices, purchase orders, variation orders and supporting documents.
- Monitor retention sums, outstanding payments and project-related receivables.
- Prepare bank reconciliation, payment schedules and month-end closing.
- Handle GST matters and assist with annual audit and tax requirements.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with project profitability analysis.
- Liaise with project managers, quantity surveyors, subcontractors, suppliers, auditors and relevant authorities.
- Maintain accurate accounting, payroll and project records.
- Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/LCCI in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience& HR experience
- Relevant construction industry experience is preferred.
- Experience with subcontractor claims, progress claims, retention sums and project costing is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software & payroll software
- Good attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Immediate starters or candidates with short notice are preferred.
- Singaporean/PR preferred.
