Position: Accounts Executive
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play an important role in managing day-to-day accounting operations and supporting the company's financial processes.
Job Scope and Responsibilities:
- Managing and handling full sets of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
- Co-ordinate to ensure completeness of journal entries supported with the necessary documents
- Perform timely month-end closing of accounts
- Prepare Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet schedules
- Handle quarterly GST report
- Ensure timely and provide accurate, reliable and complete set of financial statements and management reports
- Involved in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Perform year-end closing and audit schedules and liaise with external auditors and tax agents
- Maintain accurate accounting records and proper documentations for audit
- Ensure compliance and alignment of accounting policies and procedures with accounting standards, tax, and statutory requirements/ government regulations
- Support management with financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting
- Perform general accounting administrative duties
- Work with other department in resolving all finance/ accounts related issues
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience (FMCG/retail industry preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes and accounting software
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management
- Good team player with a positive work attitude
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work well under pressure
