Job Summary
Manage comprehensive accounting functions including billing, month-end closing, financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit coordination to support multiple entities financial health and regulatory adherence.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly rental and utility billings for tenants to ensure accurate revenue tracking
- Manage full set of accounts for multiple entities to maintain comprehensive financial records
- Perform month-end closing activities to deliver timely and accurate financial reports to management
- Prepare consolidated financial and management reports, including budgeting and cash flow forecasting, to support strategic decision-making
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations to uphold legal standards
- Handle annual tax filings and quarterly GST submissions to meet statutory requirements
- Liaise with external auditors and tax agents to facilitate audits and tax reviews
- Support ad hoc projects and perform additional duties as assigned to contribute to organizational goals
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience handling full set of accounts
- Hands-on experience with MYOB accounting software
- Familiarity with GST and tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
