Company Overview
We are an established F&B catering company in Singapore providing corporate and event catering services. We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team.
Job Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
- Perform bank reconciliations and month-end closing.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Prepare and submitGST returnsin compliance with IRAS regulations.
- Process payroll and ensure timely statutory contributions (CPF, etc.)
- Monitor cash flow, payments, and collections.
- Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and banks when required.
- Perform other ad-hoc finance and administrative duties.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of full set accounting experience.
- Experience in full set accounts, GST, and payroll processing.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates, supplier, where required).
- Meticulous, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Able to work overtime, weekends and public holidays, when required, due to 24-hour operational needs.
