Key Responsibilities
. Assist in daily accounting operations including data entry, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable
. Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts for subsidiaries.
. Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow transactions
. Assist in monthly closing of accounts, schedules, and reconciliations
. Support project costing by tracking expenses related to vessels, jobs, and work orders
. Maintain proper documentation for vendor invoices, purchase orders, and delivery orders
. Assist in inter-company transactions and reconciliations
. Prepare GST reporting and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
. Assist auditors during audits by preparing schedules and supporting documents
. Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
. Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent
. Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
. Strong understanding of accounting principles and GST
. Experience with accounting software (MYOB, SAP, or similar systems is an advantage)
. Proficient in intermediate Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications
. Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to meet deadlines
. Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
. Good communication and coordination skills
