- Preparation and maintaining accounts for the portfolio of clients which includes monthly/quarterly/yearly bookkeeping, MAS reporting, GST reporting in compliance with the client's policies and statutory requirements
- Preparation of clients deliverables (i.e. Management accounts, reporting packages, schedules, GST registration, MAS and GST Returns, consolidation, and drafting of year-end SFRS financial statements with Director's Report)
- Assist clients with any accounting, payroll, MAS and GST related issues
- Supervises and reviews work of assistants (where applicable).
- Prepares withholding tax reports & statutory forms and ensure timely & accurate submission to local tax authorities.
- Maintenance of tax records and preparation of tax returns and related reports to ensure compliance with the Singapore tax regulations.
- Liaises with both external and internal auditors to ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements, accounting standards and Client's internal controls policies & procedures.
- Any other ad hoc duties as required by the department
Qualifications & Experiences
- Degree in Accounting/Finance, ACCA or CA Singapore or equivalent
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a professional accounting or corporate services firm preferred
- Familiar with SFRS and Singapore tax regulations (Both direct and indirect taxes)
- Experience with fund companies account preferred
- Experience with Million / Xero software will be advantageous
- Meticulous, attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin to liaise with client/colleagues
