Tax Accountant (Convertible Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in the East Region. As a Tax Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our tax filings and financial reporting. This is a contract position with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and filing accurate tax returns and related documents

• Conducting tax research and analysis to identify potential savings and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations

• Collaborating with the finance team to reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial records

• Providing tax-related advice and support to internal stakeholders

• Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and best practices

• Assisting with special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required

What we're looking for

• Relevant degree in Accounting or Finance

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA)

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a tax accounting or related role

• Strong understanding of Singapore tax laws and regulations

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in using tax software and spreadsheet applications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
