About the role
We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in the East Region. As a Tax Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our tax filings and financial reporting. This is a contract position with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and filing accurate tax returns and related documents
Conducting tax research and analysis to identify potential savings and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations
Collaborating with the finance team to reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial records
Providing tax-related advice and support to internal stakeholders
Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and best practices
Assisting with special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required
What we're looking for
Relevant degree in Accounting or Finance
Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA)
Minimum 3 years of experience in a tax accounting or related role
Strong understanding of Singapore tax laws and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in using tax software and spreadsheet applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
