About the Role
We are a growing Singapore-based e-commerce firm and are looking for a Finance & Admin Executive to manage day-to-day accounting work in-house, support internal finance operations, and provide administrative and operational support to the business.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
- Handle full set of accounts in-house, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, provisions, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and post accounting entries for sales, expenses, receipts, payroll and bank transactions, including invoicing, AR/AP management, preparation of SOA and aging reports, and follow-up on outstanding collections and payments.
- Perform month-end, quarterly and year-end closing, and maintain supporting balance sheet schedules.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and draft financial statements in accordance with SFRS, including standalone and consolidated reporting where applicable.
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns.
- Prepare and file ECI and Corporate Income Tax returns, perform tax computations, and review tax positions and identify tax efficiencies where applicable.
- Prepare or coordinate XBRL filing, including liaising with external service providers where applicable.
- Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, and bankers on finance-related and statutory matters.
- Process payroll and related statutory submissions, including CPF, IR8A and IR21 where applicable.
- Maintain organized accounting documentation and ensure timely compliance with statutory deadlines.
Administration & Operations Support
- Liaise with the corporate secretarial service provider on company secretarial matters, including monitoring statutory compliance requirements and deadlines, and ensuring timely submissions.
- Provide administrative support, including basic HR administration, to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
- Handle basic office coordination, including office supplies and vendor liaison for office-related services.
- Perform other ad-hoc administrative duties as required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field ACCA / CPA / CA(S) is an advantage.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience in Singapore, with hands-on experience in handling full set of accounts.
- Experience in month-end closing and preparation of management accounts.
- Experience with GST and exposure to corporate income tax matters (ECI / Form C-S / Form C).
- Experience in audit support and liaising with external auditors.
- Experience in payroll processing and statutory submissions (e.g. CPF, IR8A, IR21) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ACRA / IRAS requirements and working with corporate secretarial service providers is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB or similar).
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, able to work independently with strong sense of ownership, and communicate effectively within a team.
- Strong written and spoken English ability to communicate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders is required for business communication.

Working Hours
- Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, during normal business hours.
