Accountant / Senior Accountant

Our client is an established company within the energy and commodities sector, seeking an Accountant / Senior Accountant to support its finance operations and reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Prepare monthly and year-end management reports and reconciliations.
• Support audit, tax and statutory reporting requirements.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, auditors, tax advisors and external parties on finance matters.
• Review financial data and investigate variances where required.
• Support process improvements and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in accounting and/or audit.
• Experience within energy, commodities, trading or related industries will be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of Singapore accounting and statutory requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with various stakeholders.
• ACCA, CA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
